Was today typical?

The alarm starts playing music and it’s 4:30am. I roll over and turn it off slide my slippers on my feet and shuffle out to the kitchen. It is almost like I am on auto piolet filling the kettle and putting it on the propane burner. Light the burner and go to the bathroom to wash my face and use the bathroom. From there I scoop the coffee grounds into the double walled stainless steel French Press. 5am J shuffles out for coffee and breakfast. Most mornings it is a bowl of raisin bran cereal. As he eats I make his lunch for work, a sandwich, granola bar, yogurt, cookies, beef pepperoni and water with electrolyte packets. J leaves for work at 5:35am and I climb back into bed for a nap.
Now I know I could stay up at start my day but when I have tried that I am usually falling asleep at supper time. That for me doesn’t work at all. I’m normally back up by 7am and then start my morning with coffee and breakfast. My breakfast since I don’t eat cereal that much (like maybe twice a month) consists of sautéed spinach and scrambled eggs. I make my plan for the day at this time. But generally I have my days flexible. I am wanting to be more consistent here in the blogging space so I have decided that I will devote mornings 3 days a week to share things with you guys. I am implementing a bunch of life organizing tools into my life and I thought if they help me then why not share with you my readers and followers. And besides who doesn’t like the occasional free download.
By 8am I am usually taking the dog out for a walk. Since we live in an RV Park we can’t just let him out the door to go do his business like we could on the farm. But it gets me out and active before I sit down for a few hours a day. Lunch is usually around 1 pm and it’s usually leftovers from the nights before supper. D takes the dog out for a walk after lunch. While I typically work on my social media stuff in the afternoon. Then around 4:30pm I start getting things ready for supper. Tuesdays and Thursdays are now Crock Pot meal nights as I am generally away from home those days. So I’ll make a roast or a small chicken those days. We typically eat by 6pm, clean up the dishes after that and sit down for family Bible time around 8pm. 9pm we take the dog for another walk before bed. Lights go out for the day by 10pm.
Right now since we are stationary this routine works for us. When we start traveling it may need to change up a bit. And when we start the school season once again it will pivot once more. If I have learned anything in life it is to make sure you are flexible. You have to have the ability to pivot and regroup and adapt to life happenings.
I sincerely hope you have had a wonderful day,
Kimberley
