Another page turns over.

Good Afternoon Friends,

Today is the start of another year in the business sense of things. I won't go into a lot of details but just know that having a year start in the middle of winter makes zero sense. So our family observes the true new year when Spring turns everything green and there is new life being born. It just makes more sense to celebrate when the earth is waking up then when it is lying dormant.

But we do change the calendar and plan the new year ahead starting in January. This is when we reflect on what we did last year and what we want to do this year. What projects we want to accomplish. Where we want to travel to and when, new for this year I am looking at and applying to special market events where I can take my clothing and accessories to. I am working on curating my shop to just a few main sellers in selected fabrics that I will always have in the shop and at the markets as well as some specialty projects according to themes and seasons. This way I can stock up for the shop and markets and everything will be cohesive.

I do hope that 2024 was a year that you can take some good memories away from. 2024 had us change and move to the Shuswap area. So far I am enjoying it but I do kind of miss winter. We haven't gotten that cold or snowy here yet. But overall the move South was a huge blessing for our family, we were able to meet new friends and become part of a community that is focused on everyone thriving not just surviving.
