Shalom my beloved friends.
Our family has moved and we are starting to settle in our routines. We had a spectacular unleavened bread feast with friends and way to much food. It was such a blessing to be with our friends we met at Sukkot again. D has been so much more happy since our move. J started his new job on May 1st and is enjoying it. He is enjoying being in the tractor again. It has been nice to have him come home from work and not be exhausted.
What have I been up to? Well , I’m slowly getting into a rhythm. Most days the guys are gone off to work. D has been helping a friend with his construction business from time to time and he is waiting for his summer job at the go kart track to start. I try and get Owen out for daily walks at least 2 times before J gets home. My knees are hurting a lot but I am working through the pain.
My task over the next little while will be to get this RV renovated to what we need it to function as. I will be creating a space for our shoes by the door with part of the under the sink cupboard. I will be renovating the under sink storage itself to actually be useful. Then move on to the bottom bunk. Since D sleeps on the upper bunk we are taking the bottom one out and turning it into a storage area with shelves and a desk area for D. Then we’ll move onto the slide out. Currently it houses a dinette with benches and a jackknife sofa. We’ll be converting the dining area to a corner bench and narrow table with a couple of chairs and where the sofa is will be a folding table (for my sewing) bookcase and arm chair.
We are hoping to have all this completed by the time we leave for our trip in October. That is my goal. We figured if we’re living in this thing full time we better make it ours and set it up the way we want it. Oh and we’ll be getting new mattresses for both beds. the ones that come with RV’s are a nightmare.
That’s all for now friends. Have a Blessed day.
Kimberley XOXO
